HFEs are a series of non-flammable, ozone-free, low greenhouse effect cleaning solvents and are widely used in vapor degreasing, immersion, hand-wipe and spray cleaning applications. These fluids are effective on a wide variety of soils, ranging from fingerprints and particles to lead-free solders. Their low surface tensions allow HFE fluids to get through the tightest clearances, and their great solubility ensure a suitably cleaned product.
