Solvent Cleaning for Optics

HFE fluids have superior performance that allows them to be used in a wide range of applications in the optics industry, such as optical assemblies, lens manufacturing, fiber optics and flat panel displays.

If water-based detergents are used to clean optical parts, there is often an issue of residue spots. HFE fluids are used as a final rinse step to ensure a spot-free finish for parts that must meet stringent performance criteria.
